Saying Yes to God

Does having faith and trying to make sense of loss have to be on opposite ends of the spectrum?  Does it have to be one OR the other?

What does it really mean to say YES to God?  What does it mean to have the faith to say YES to what we see God doing, and say it BEYOND what we can see God doing?

And is it possible to lose the YES, or even say YES in grief?
