The focus of this episode is Philosophy Professor and all around brilliant man, Dr. Johannes Steizinger. We discuss famous German author Karl May and his fictional stories that feature a culturally taxidermized version of Indigenous Peoples from Turtle Islands, but with a twist - they are the good guys in the story. We talk about the ethics of this and how it is likely better than the more familiar stories of the "wild Indians" as the bad guys, but none the less it is still inaccurate.
