Mitch's Biography: Mitch Horowitz is one of today’s most literate voices of esoterica, mysticism, and the occult. Mitch is a writer-in-residence at the New York Public Library, lecturer-in-residence at the Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles, and the PEN Award-winning author of books including Occult America; One Simple Idea: How Positive Thinking Reshaped Modern Life; The Miracle Club; and Awakened Mind, one of the first works of New Thought published in Arabic. Mitch has discussed alternative spirituality Vox/Netflix’s on CBS Sunday Morning, Dateline NBC, Explained, VICE News, and CNN. Mitch recently appeared on the podcast of popstar Kesha and is collaborating with Emmy-nominated director Ronni Thomas on a feature documentary about the occult classic The Kybalion, shot on location in Egypt.
