Scale Weight vs Body Composition

Looking at that number on the scale and noticing it hasn't gone down, but you're doing everything you can to lose weight, change your lifestyle, and achieve your goals, can be very depressing. Not only that, but this will also create a self doubt that can be so toxic inside your mind that you will begin to doubt yourself with everything else in life. 

 

I'm sure you've heard of the saying, "muscle weighs more than fat". Do you believe this is true? Is 1lb of muscle heavier than 1lb of fat? NO, IT IS NOT! The weight is neutral, the only thing that is different is the volume of the mass in 1lb of fat compared to the volume of mass in 1lb of muscle. Once you listen to this episode entirely, you will have better understanding of why you see body composition change before you see the number on the scale go down.
