Surprisingly Funny!!!
The first half of the book places the main characters in some really funny situations.I was listening in bed and had to get up. I laughed so hard the bed shook. Simon Prebble captures the rake's character perfectly. Loved it. Gonna buy the next one in the series.
He was not the scandal...she was
This is my favorite book. The passion and sex scenes in this series is starting to become more detailed. Not a problem for me, Simon Prebble makes everything sound so passionate anyway. Scandal's Bride has a twist in that she comes to him the first three times. I thought it was a wonderful twist. I like to hear the details of a marriage sometimes instead of always reading about the courtship. This was a great book!
another great one
I love this whole series - it is just the thing for my morning commute. Nothing serious, although the "romantic" scenes have distracted me from driving from time to time! :) The thing I love most about them though it the NARRATOR who is nothing short of amazing! There are 6 main men (and as many women) characters in this series, and he manages to give each of them and himself as narrator a slightly different voice. A true talent as I have been listening to audio books for a long time and I can tell you not many narrators can pull that off!
loved this book and author!!!!!!
wish they would release all her books
CYNSTER LETDOWN
Can't believe this was part of the Cynster series. There was absolutely No storyline/plot here; no character interest, no mystery, no quest, no fun secondary characters, no info about the heroine's religion....Nothing....Just rambling dialogue and many overly-typical (and mediocre) intimate scenes, along with tons of miscommunications, between two flatly written characters. Add to that the thousand-and-one times the author used the word "humph" and I could not wait for it to end.
