By the time you are listening to this, the new Doomsday Clock time should be out - I missed being able to feature the announcement by a mere few hours.

The Doomsday Clock has been running since 1947; some of the people on the first board were Einstein and Oppenheimer. It's a measurement of how close we are to completely destroying the world, and nuclear war features prominently in the calculations. Even if, by some miracle, it does move back a smidge (which I doubt), it's still no reason to celebrate. We're on the verge of destruction.

You'll hear an interview with Dr. Ivana Nikolić Hughes, President of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation (NAPF) and Senior Lecturer in Chemistry at Columbia University. She's an expert on this, and the science on it is incontrovertible, as you'll hear in the interview. Educate yourself and spread the message!

The interview is with Tucker Carlson, so you will hear his voice occasionally. I'm not exactly the biggest fan of him either, but don't shoot the messenger. He has a huge audience, and it was excellent for him to have an expert on to talk about this.
