Colossians 3:1-3

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

God is not dealing with our sin issue, He is establishing our righteousness.

We do not become a new person by changing our behavior. We discover the person we already are in Christ and behave accordingly.

Big Idea:

When we come to Christ our wounds are no longer our identity, His wounds are!

Closing Thought:

Knowing who we are is found in a healthy relationship with God. A healthy relationship with God will give us a healthy relationship with ourselves and with others.
