St. Paul of the Cross Monastery - Serving Catholics of Pittsburgh since forever … Where else can you hit up a 5:30 pm daily Mass?16. St. Paul Seminary - Forming men to serve Jesus, home to deer, soccer fields and lots of other cool stuff17. St. Anthony’s Chapel - For obvious reasons18. Yinzer Cantors - Rain dahn your love on your people!19. Kennywood - Ethnic days/Catholic youth days - Priests riding roller coasters20. The Pittsburgh Catholic - Keeping us informed of the priest transfers21. Steeler Sunday - Nothing says we love God like black and gold in the pews22. The Ark and the Dove - The Catholic Charismatic renewal began here over 50 years ago in North Park23. Steubenville - It’s close enough to count - a burb of the Burg and a Catholic gem of the US24. Gilmary Retreat Center - While no longer open, this place served so many youth with an opportunity to encounter Jesus. Rege Flaherty was an awesome retreat director.25. Holy Thursday Church tours - In some places you can almost catch all seven by walking.26. The West End Overlook - A hidden treasure with a great view of the city, like an angel looking down on God’s creation27. Catholic schools - Where faith and khaki pants come together. Pittsburgh still has a bunch left, educating the youth! Donut and drink day was a big deal for this kid28. High School Football - It’s kind of a big deal in the valley towns …29. Duquense University - Confusing non-yinzers on pronunciation all the time.30. St. Paul’s Cathedral - A massive Church, and the site of ordinations and big time diocesan events like the Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass31. Holy Apostles Festival of Praise - They doing it well!32. HIdden Catholic gems - Shrine to Our Lady in Avalon, PA near Holy Family friary.33. River Rail Trails - Nothing like walking/biking along the river enjoying nature and seeing magnificent Churches on the hills.34. Parish Farmers Markets - Feed your soul and your body38. Religious Sisters - Educated many in PGH back in the day39. Ethnic neighborhoods - Retaining the tradition of the homeland40.
