SCENE 1: CHRISTMAS TODAY

Children: “Presents, yea! I love presents. They’re my favorite part of Christmas.”

Dad: “Hold on kids. I like presents too. But do you know the reason why we give presents at Christmas? All of these presents are a reminder of the greatest present ever given. It’s the best gift of all!”

Children: “What is it? Please tell us!”

Dad: “Well, it happened a long time ago...but this gift, the greatest gift, is still for you this Christmas. God told us in the Bible how He was going to send help to our world. Because of all the hurt, sadness, and pain caused by sin, God was sending a Savior. Our sin is when we make choices that make God sad like lying or stealing. It’s when we choose to do things our way instead of God’s way. God was going to send a gift, His

Son, Jesus, to help us.”
