SCENE 7: JESUS TEACHING
Dad: “Jesus grew up and he never sinned. He lived with Mary and Joseph and had brothers and sisters.”
Children: “That’s impossible! You mean Jesus never lied, he never hit his brothers and sister?”
Dad: “You have to remember that Jesus is God’s own son, so he is fully human, but he is also fully God. This is why he is God’s greatest gift to us – Jesus was perfect! When Jesus was thirty years old, he began to teach people about God and God’s desire for us to love God and love people. Jesus told great crowds of people the good news about God’s kingdom where those who are sad are comforted and those who are kind to people will be given mercy. Jesus also healed people and gave them hope. Jesus knew he was going to save people from their sins, and this meant he had to be willing to die to pay for their sins.”
