Continuing my discussion with Cody, Chris and Vince around scene management and etiquette.
Believe me, I've made all the mistakes you can make as an EMT and Paramedic. My goal is to help YOU avoid these mistakes and decrease the amount of miscommunication and confrontation on scenes with other providers. At the end of the day it's all about the PATIENT. That is what we are all here for.
A recurrent theme in the discussion is RESPECT. Respect for the patient first and foremost but also for the other providers on scene AND in the hospital. We can all put our egos aside and remember that it's usually the patient that suffers when we focus too much on ourselves.
I hope you guys get something out of this episode. Please give me your feedback at [email protected].
Part 3, where we finish the discussion is live as well for PREMIUM members only. Check it out by subscribing as a premium member.
