The New Hampshire legislature is attempting to repeal the state’s education tax-credit which serves nearly 900 students, the majority of which are low-income or have special needs. Levell relayed a story of scholarship students escaping racial and religious bullying by teachers, staff, and students. She relayed other stories of students in schools with rampant drug use and the story of a scholarship student now excelling and planning on attending Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
