The Box Elder County Commission has unanimously approved a temporary flag display on the courthouse lawn in early December to honor victims of school shootings. During the commission’s Nov. 5 meeting, local resident Aurelia Saunders asked to install 405 stand-up American flags representing each U.S. school shooting since 2020.
