Back in April 2021, I recorded a series of interviews with the children of some of my friends to get their impression of remote learning during the time of the COVID-19 Pandemic.  At the same time, vaccines were being rolled out and there was a greater sense of confidence that going back to in person learning was safer and less risky.  So I asked two 10 year olds (Lily and Payton) and one 16 year old (Thomas) what their impressions were of remote learning and what they might be apprehensive of going back to in person.

And then a funny thing happened.  My computer died and I thought these recordings were gone.  But somehow they reappeared from my cloud drive and I decided to use the recordings in an episode and also follow up after about 9 months later to see how school was going for some of them.  Truly fascinating to learn what their fears were from before and how they mirror or contrast the current situation in January 2022 with the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in the country.
