This week, we’re proud to highlight a true hometown hero. Frank, a proud Marine Corps veteran and dedicated veterinarian, was presented with a life-changing gift — a service dog named Jazzy. Frank’s story is one of resilience and selfless service. A Patchogue native, he not only served in the military but also provided critical care to victims and first responders at Ground Zero in the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks — an event that deeply impacted countless Long Islanders.
