2020 posed a difficult task on schools across the nation in Utah. With being forced to go in person at the height of the pandemic.. as time went on and some in Utah found hybrid option and others stayed full remote. What was the impact on this abrupt change to students? Was there a difference in those schools who stayed remote longer vs those who went back in person? Darin Nielson, Associate Superintendent of Public Instruction, Utah State Board of Education Shares what the state has learned. Chris Williams with Davis School District joins the show to talk about what the district would do differently if another pandemic struck today.
