What If: Science, Theory, and Possibilities

Listen Later

This blue, marble-like planet looks just like Earth, but only five seconds on this hostile death-orb would kill you. Welcome to HD 189733b. This planet is enormous, even larger than Jupiter, and like Jupiter, it's entirely made of gas. Scientists classify HD 189733b as a hot Jupiter.

Stay tuned for our new exciting Saturday episode where Peter, our host, will take on a real-life What If challenge! One lucky viewer of that episode will get a chance to meet the What If team.
