Hot off the hit animated show "Seis Manos", composer Carl Thiel spends time with Brian talking about the process of creating a ground-breaking international score for Netflix's newest ambitious animated adventure. Carl recalls the process of getting the gig, recording an orchestra in Budapest, and combining 70's grindhouse, blaxploitation elements, drug cartel sub-themes, and ancient Mexican lore into a colorful caldron of musical flavors, and discusses his perspective on scoring for "binge watching" audiences versus serialized television or standalone films.
