SCORPIO. Sun Moon and Rising. To step on others as a means of getting ahead. We are stepped on to the extent we allow ourselves to be. Ultimately, only we have the power to protect ourselves. To defend the powerless is to reinforce powerlessness. The question is how, to reestablish power after giving so much of it away. Without guns. Or pride. Or fear. Or retaliation. There is no right way. Sometimes power is in the act of surrendering, if means dying by fighting. I must ask myself what do I want. Do I want to fight? Or do I want to win. Because there's a difference.
