For a band that had made its way through the 1970’s as a band that did successfully within their European borders without making a huge splash outside of those barriers, the 1980’s turned that all around for the Scorpions, as they released several albums that pushed them to success in the UK and the US, as well as breaking through on the singles and albums charts.
Following a massive world tour, and a four year break between albums, they returned to the studio to write and record their tenth studio album titled “Savage Amusement”, and whether they felt it or not, there would have been a certain amount of pressure on the band to replicate their recent success on the new opus, something that becomes the basis of today’s episode.
