On tonight’s edition of Scottscope Talk Radio, the roundtable reviews ‘Fantastic Four!’  Is it truly as bad as its reputation suggests?  Who is ultimately to blame for its abject failure at the box office?  Was director Josh Trank sleeping on the job?  Does 20th Century Fox know how to properly usher a superhero property to the big screen?  Should Fox simply give the rights back to Marvel and be done with it?  Are they merely being stubborn by holding on to the rights and proceeding with plans for a sequel?  Why is apparently so hard to make a decent movie about Marvel’s first family?

We’ll also be reviewing Dr. Dre’s latest (and supposedly final) studio album ‘Compton: A Soundtrack by Dre.’  Is it in the same class as The Chronic or 2001?  Is it even in the same class as the Aftermath album?  Does Dre still have his penchant magic touch behind the boards, or have his skills atrophied?  Is the album a suitable companion piece to the upcoming N.W.A biopic ‘Straight Outta Compton’?

We’ll also be celebrating the life and legacy of the late Sean Price!  How can the musical legacy of Sean Price be properly summed up?  Can he be considered one of the most uncompromising rappers from his particular era?  What were his most essential contributions to the famed Boot Camp Clik?  How did his solo material matchup to his work as one half of the duo Heltah Skeltah?
