Atlanta’s history of scouting is really a 4-part story - the story of white Girl Scouts and Black Girl Scouts and white Boy Scouts and Black Boy Scouts. Unsurprisingly, the year that these groups begin vary wildly, the latter often the result of a dedicated local grassroots effort.
