Tamarind Gin Martini (makes 6)
1.5 cups tamarind water ice cubes (70 g tamarind pulp in 1.75 cups of hot water, overnight soak, squeezed and strained, poured into an ice tray and in a freezer until ready for use)
2 limes, quartered
12 oz gin (in a freezer, until ready for use)
5 oz dry vermouth
6 very cold glasses , (or 3 very cold glasses if you’re having 2 each)
Combine all of your ingredients, other than the limes in a pitcher or shaker, shake or stir until things feel melted enough, you feel each ingredient has been well acquainted with the other. Stick back in the fridge if you need to, strain into your very cold glasses, go outside, sit directly under the sun and enjoy.
