I chat with an old friend Aaron Kelly, who is a counsellor in Edinburgh and a member of the pastoral care team at Edinburgh University. To date, I have spoken to professionals working with adults, children, teenagers- join me as I continue my series on exploring mental health. I scratch the surface of how our student population are coping with these uncertain times. Aaron is very forward thinking and passionate about supporting students and others, with a breadth of knowledge and insight into psychology and a better way of supporting those who are struggling. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Aaron’s views about how we could move towards more efficient and accessible mental health services for those who truly need them, along with his tips on how we can start to “change the narrative” and begin to heal ourselves in these uncertain times.
