In the case of Anna Scott, her reality has becoming a living hell. NAME THE DEMON is an 2024 found footage exorcism movie from filmmaking brothers Carmelo and Nicholas Chimera, starring Danny Bohnen, Jessie Nerud, and Joe Castro. We are joined on this conversation with Carmelo and Danny to chat about straight up one of our favorite movies of the year, the incredible practical effects of NAME THE DEMON, and how they pulled off the films HOUR LONG ONE SHOT!

On this episode hosts Casey and Sam chat two of our favorite Are You Afraid of the Dark? episodes The Tale of Laughing in the Dark and The Tale of the Ghastly Grinner. It was fun...until it wasn't. A group of lifelong friends take a weekend trip to a secluded house as a break from life, and to partake in a hallucinogen binge. As the group swap stories, they soon learn that the house they inhabit may have a dark past. We are joined in the basement with Director, Writer, Producer, and Star of the 2024 film The Trip, Dean Jacobs as we chat about the Kickstarter produced film that stars genre staples Doug Bradley (Hellraiser), Hannah Fierman (V/H/S), and Lori Cardille (Day of the Dead).
