The Dark Knight is a superhero film directed, co-produced, and co-written by Christopher Nolan. The film stars Christian Bale as Batman, Heath Ledger as The Joker, and Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent, as well as Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, and Gary Oldman.
