His new film 'My Name is Happy', follows the journey of Mutlu Kaya, a Kurdish teenager who was the star of Turkey's Got Talent when she was shot by a local man at her home in Southeast Turkey. While following her recovery, My Name is Happy also highlights the high number of femicides in Turkey.
