my relationship with the label 'feminist' is changing - I'm resonating more with 'anti-patriarchal & -capitalistic' as it encompasses more of what I stand for, including how men & the LGBTQ+ community are affected by the patriarchy too.
I will never associate as a 'non-/anti-feminist' though! Feminism has given me abundant sovereignty, freedom & autonomy, which I could never disregard & will continue to fight for. This, to me, is still the major aspect of being anti-patriarchal.
I realised that, as much as feminism has made me into the independent woman I am today, I have also used it as an excuse to attach to my masculine energy, leading to an imbalance within myself and my relationships. Further, that equality does not mean sameness - men and women are different by design, BUT equal by worth, and to embrace our different strengths, we can come together in harmony to dismantle the patriarchy & live our most abundant lives! ☯
I only wish to start a conversation, not push opinions onto anyone :) LOVE YOU
