BIO:
Hailing from Brixton, the South London-based, classically trained producer, she has been interested in music from an extremely early age. Dushi made her exciting DnB debut on Drumsound and Bassline Smith’s famous Technique Recordings, and has now just dropped her Gangsta Love EP on none other than legend, DJ SS’s Formation Records, one of the most respected labels in the DnB scene.
With inspirations ranging from Hip Hop and RnB to funk and Soul, as well as the classical music she first learnt to play, it’s no surprise that Dushi’s work is known for its soulful melodic nature. Fascinated by the way a computer can take the place of the whole orchestra; Dushi’s music is also the result of many different inspirations and instruments, resulting in a unique original sound.
This unique synergy of different styles is one of the reasons the London based producer has already taken the scene by storm, with her releases getting played on renowned radio shows such as Dj Hype on Kiss 100, Fabio & Grooverider on BBC Radio 1, Sacha Brooks on Capital, Crissy Criss and Bailey on BBC Radio 1Xtra, London Elektricity and many more.
