Scripture and AAP: What Ephesians 6:1-4 Teaches about AAP

Listen Later

In this episode of AAP, Danny and Monica continue in part 3 of their mini-series on scripture and Asian American Parenting, and look at Ephesians 6:1-4. They discuss the contrast between Paul’s exhortation for children to obey their parents versus parents not to provoke their children to anger. They continue to discuss the idea of parenting from a 1st generation perspective to the rise of Tiger parenting. Finally, they discuss verse 4 of Ephesians 6 about what it means for parents to not “exasperate” their children versus bringing them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
