The Church has a way of over complicating what it means to be a follower of Jesus. There can be a lot of requirements and expectations that in the end do not result in a more robust and vibrant faith. Sometimes it is most helpful to simply get back to the basics. Focusing on spending time in prayer, reading the scriptures, confessing our sin, and exercising our faith in serving others will help us engage with the foundations of our faith. 

On this episode, Pastor Dan talks about how the Bible has been given to us as a tool to equip and encourage us for Kingdom living in the world. Spending intentional time reading and meditating on scripture is the daily sustenance we need as followers of Christ.
