The Risen Lord doesn’t have a lot of time to waste. His window on the earth is extremely limited, but he takes the time to cook his disciples breakfast, break bread with them, and reassure Peter. Christ embodies forgiveness in community but also deeply convicts Peter to do something with this new found forgiveness and Spirit.
