Have you ever looked at a situation and wondered how God could possibly work it out?
In today’s ScriptureLinks Daily Dose of Inspiration, we’re looking at biblical examples of the power of God and discovering why human limitations never limit Him.
In 1 Corinthians 1:23–24, Paul explains that Christ crucified is the power of God and the wisdom of God to those who are called. In Acts 4:13–14, we see ordinary men standing boldly before others, with unmistakable evidence of Jesus’ work in their lives. And in Exodus 14:21–23, 27–28, we read about God opening the Red Sea and making a way where there appeared to be no way.
These passages remind us that God’s power is greater than human wisdom, greater than our circumstances, and greater than the obstacles standing in our path.
The question is: Are we trusting in what we can see, or in the God who has already demonstrated what He can do?

What happens when the wisdom of God contradicts the wisdom of man?
In today's ScriptureLinks Daily Dose of Inspiration, we're looking at 1 Corinthians 1:18, 21–31 and Paul's challenging message about the cross, the wisdom of God, and the things the world considers foolish.
The world values power, position, education, influence, and personal achievement. But God doesn't measure things the way we do. He chose to work through what the world considers foolish and weak to reveal a wisdom and power that human understanding cannot match.
Paul also reminds us that God didn't call us because we were the wisest, strongest, or most impressive people around. Our salvation and our standing before Him are not grounds for boasting. Jesus Christ is our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.
So here's the question: Are we judging God's Word by our understanding, or are we allowing God's Word to challenge our understanding?

When the Wisdom of Man Becomes Foolishness | ScriptureLinks Daily Dose of Inspiration
Have you ever been convinced you were right, only to discover you had been looking at things the wrong way?
What man considers wisdom doesn’t always agree with the wisdom of God. In fact, the Bible shows us that human reasoning, personal interests, and impatience can lead us away from the truth.
In this episode of ScriptureLinks Daily Dose of Inspiration, we look at the contrast between the wisdom of man and the wisdom of God through several powerful passages of Scripture.

What if the very thing the world considers foolish is the very thing God uses to reveal His power?
In 1 Corinthians 1:17–28, Paul challenges the way we think about wisdom, strength, and success. The world looks for impressive words, human achievement, and outward power. But God chose the preaching of the cross—a message the world considers foolish—to accomplish what human wisdom never could.
And He doesn’t stop there. God chooses the weak things, the foolish things, and the things the world considers insignificant to bring His purposes to pass.
Are we judging God’s work by the world’s standards? Have we overlooked what God can do because something—or someone—doesn’t look impressive enough?

The wise me recognized the sign that led them to Jesus. But are we recognizing what Scripture tells us about His return?

In today’s Daily Dose, we continue our discussion about the return of Christ by looking at the signs Jesus gave His disciples in Matthew 24:3-14. We will also consider why knowing Scriptures matter, how how the Word of God points us to Jesus, and why we must be careful not to confuse biblical truth with human speculation.

What happens when Jesus returns for His church?

The Rapture of the Church has been debated for generations. Christians have different views about its timing and some of the details surrounding Christ’s return. But when Paul wrote about it in 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18, his purpose wasn’t to create fear or confusion.

His purpose was to give believers hope.

Paul explains that believers who have died in Christ will rise first. Then those who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air.

And then comes the promise that should capture our attention:

“And so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

Today on ScriptureLinks Daily Dose of Inspiration, we’re looking at the Rapture of the Church and asking a very personal question:

Jesus is coming. Are you ready?

Yesterday, we looked at how Paul received the Gospel—not from men, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Today, Paul continues his story.

In Galatians 1:18–24, Paul explains what happened after his conversion. We also look at Acts 9, where Paul begins preaching Christ, faces opposition, and eventually has to escape for his life.

Paul’s story is a powerful reminder that a changed life doesn’t always happen overnight, and people don’t always immediately believe that you’ve changed. But God can take the person you were and use that very story to demonstrate His grace.

Your past may explain where you’ve been, but it doesn’t have to determine where you’re going.

What if false doctrine doesn’t look false?

Paul warned Timothy about people who would resist the truth, but he didn’t tell him to simply trust his instincts. He pointed him back to Scripture.

How do we recognize false doctrine before it takes root in our lives?

In 2 Timothy 3:8-17, Paul warns Timothy about people who oppose the truth and resist sound teaching. But Paul doesn’t leave Timothy wondering where he should turn. He points him directly to the Scriptures—the Word of God that is profitable for teaching, correction, and instruction in righteousness.

Then Galatians 1:8 gives us an incredibly serious warning: even if someone claims to bring a message from heaven, if that message contradicts the gospel already given, it must be rejected.

In today’s Daily Dose, we continue exposing false doctrines by asking a difficult question: Are we grounded enough in God’s Word to recognize deception when it comes?

Because you can’t recognize a counterfeit by studying counterfeits alone. You need to know the genuine article.
