Joining the Dads this week, we try a Dogfish Head Brewery Slightly Mighty IPA. Both Dads agree this beer is a new staple in their regular inventory, with the beer being a nice light, lo-cal IPA that's not too hoppy and perfect for almost any setting. Shifting to the weekly catchup, Rich complains about leaky windows, puddles in the basement and more yard work (yawn). Josh has a huge life update and begins a new journey in life while discussing Easter with his daughter.
The Dads then provide a brief synopsis of ‘Be Prepared: A Practical Handbook for New Dads’ by Gary Greenberg and Jeannie Hayden pages 25-28: Your Newborn and Your Pet. After discussing the topic and their personal experiences with integrating babies and pets into their lives, the show transitions to the topic of the night.
Scrolls as Good as Ancient Ones, referencing the endless and mindless scrolling you can find yourself in while in-trance with social media platforms. The Dads discuss how that mindless scrolling can be very useful and educational, much of what we get from ancient scrolls teaching us about their society and ways of life. The Dads dissect some topics of videos and the purposes they can fill in our every-day lives as people, fathers and as men.
The Dads then transition to "Dear Internet, Meet Dad" with Josh reading several posts from FML.com. After a light laugh, the Dads then give their social media a shout out.
