The countdown to final year continues in this week's episode of Scrubbed In. With only a week and a bit left until we don the title of final year students, Dani and I are starting to face new challenges, like preparing for the NAVLE, financial responsibilities and the reality that in a short time we will be the ones making the important decisions in the lives of animals. Thankfully our school is helping with this transition by providing countless learning opportunities. In this week, we get you scrubbed in to our small group tutorials and practicals focused on first opinion decision making. 

In these courses you don't have your notes nor do you even get to see the cases before the class. All you have are your colleagues and your own knowledge and experience. Listen along as we discuss how we deal with these scenarios and how it's preparing us for facing life in the real world. Additionally we chat about an exciting optional practical we took part in this week over at the equine hospital that involved a strong Top Gun reference.
