DnD Group updates:

“Airsoft DnD: Mayhem at Midnight inspired by a 2nd addition adventure originally posted in Dungeon magazine.”

D.U.D.E. left the party to pursue his gargoyle army. 

The party makes camp in a non descript clearing in the woods.  Two new "potential" members make camp nearby. The two groups avoid interaction with some wondering ogres.

At around midnight the wild flowers at the north end of the clearing react to the moonlight from the full moon. This causes some members of the part to become confused and unaware of the large creature that attacks the clearing from the south east.

The party using un-conventual tactics are able to damage the creature enough to force it to retreat. They were unable to save one of the members of the caravan they were contracted to escort as it was captured y the creature. In an act of mercy one of the party members throws a scimitar at the npc killing him before being dragged into a quicksand like pit that is the creatures lair

As the party takes stock and prepares to break camp and risk the dangers of the woods they have some introductions to make with the two new commers that helped with the fight.
