For this episode of our podcast, I am bringing you a jam session of a few friends talking about our first shark experiences and when we got into wildlife and the ocean. The conversation was between, myself, our host operator Jorge Cervera Hauser, Regi Domingo, and a couple of our friends who joined us on this mako shark expedition off Baja. We hope you enjoy. I recorded this podcast on the last night of our grey whale expedition off Magdalena Bay, Baja Mexico. I have been in love with this area, from the first moment i visited the place. From the birds, to the whales, to the coastal coyotes. Magdalena Bay has it all. Hope you enjoy and if you do, please write a comment, or better yet - share it with your friends.
This episode of our podcast was with Tom Harrison, our black bear guide in North Carolina. This was our exploratory trip to North Carolina with the entire SDM crew; Maritza, Sophia and David. I recorded our conversation while we were driving along the back roads of North Carolina looking for bears to photograph. Hope you enjoy. If you are interested in joining us for a future black bear expedition, please visit our website for more information.
This was an interview I did with Alejandro del Mazo, former head of Conanp, (Comisión Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas). We were on a dive trip to Socorro Island, Mexico when we sat down to talk about his work to protect the oceans of Mexico during his term in office.
We recorded this podcast while sitting on the Kinabatangan river, off Borneo, photographing wild pygmy elephants. I interviewed our guide Omar, and he got really deep. He discussed, orangutan conservation, pygmy elephants, and the palm oil fields. Hope you enjoy!
For episode 4 of our podcast, I sat down and chatted with my buddy Chris Doherty to discuss thresher sharks, photography, getting the shot, the highs and lows of the travel life and how people can give back. I interviewed Chris while on Malapascua Island, Philippines on our final day of diving. To learn more about Chris and his work, check out his website; www.dohertyphotography.com and his social media pages Doherty Photography.
During our recent expedition to Malapascua Island, Philippines, I sat down with Toni Plaza and my buddy, Underwater Photographer, Chris Doherty to discuss thresher sharks, eco-tourism and the people of Malapascua Island. Hope you enjoy this podcast. The intro was recorded while I was on my flight to Borneo for our orangutan expedition, so sorry about the noise.
I sat down with Capt Scott Smith, owner of the Dolphin Dream, the boat operator we have used to dive Tiger Beach for the past 16 seasons. We talked sharks, dolphins, eco-tourism and the past 40 years of Captain's life, living and working and playing in the Bahamas
