What is emotional confusion? And why is it the con of the century?
It is when the information coming in does not match what you already know and you don’t quite know how to process it.
Example; Changes in what you have become accustomed to IE: restaurant story
A second definition is when you go through emotions in rapid succession and it leaves you vulnerable to influence beyond what you would normally allow. IE: A crowd being whipped up into a riotous frenzy.
This is the one that I want to focus on although they are both very closely related.
Experts, (which I am not one of) generally agree that there are 10 basic human emotions.
10 emotions
Enjoyable: Happiness, Trust,
Situational: Anticipation, Surprise,
Not Enjoyable: Sadness, Anger, Loneliness, Jealousy, Fear, Disgust,
I’m gonna tell a little story about how my bunkmate and myself got scammed out of all of our money while in SOI.
See if you can spot the various emotions that we went through as the story unfolds.
There is no greater con than to deliberately put someone on an emotional trip in order to manipulate them. And if by chance you discover that you are on an emotion trip, take a mental pause, you are about to be scammed. If you think I’m wrong, turn on the TV and watch the news for 15 minutes and see how you feel after that. Better yet watch the DNC or the RNC. Botha re running a national scam. In a matter of 3 minutes you will be pulled in all directions, angered, relieved, filled with pride, only to be disguised, and then here is a sob story and another moment of pride. It is a scam as old as religion, politics and trade. But they will never teach it to you in any organized educational system because to understand it is to take the power back, or at least keep your power where it belongs.
