This week is all about advances in research in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Nancy Gee is the director of the Center for Human Animal Interaction at Virginia Commonwealth University and part of the Annenberg Petspace Leadership Institute. She chats with Steve about all of the amazing ways animals are helping humans but specifically about animals helping patients in hospitals.
Dr. Ann Hohenhaus is part of the World Small Animal Veterinary Association Oncology Working Group. She will tell us all about the ways they are trying to help pet parents recognize and seek treatment for cancers in pets earlier, leading to better outcomes for pets and their families.
Steve helps listeners by phone and email.
