And maybe most unexpected this week, GLAAD President Jarret Barrios--a past Swish guest--resigns (along with the head of GLAAD's Board of Directors) because of the organization's misguided advocacy for the AT&T / T-Mobile merger. Heavy.

You might dig his quirky and idiosyncratic style as unforced and honest, without needless noise. This out singer has opened for Fantasia, Deborah Cox and Adam Lambert, and has also played the infamous Sunset Strip’s Viper Room, Roxy, and Key Club. Currently, TimPermanent is promoting his 2011 EP Marker.
