Climate change has a profound impact on the Egyptian agricultural soil and has caused a major damage. The agricultural lands in the cities and regions of the Nile Delta are the most fertile and of the highest quality. However, the rise in sea levels leads to an increase in soil salinity, adversely affecting the agriculture sector and its quality. Hadeel Al-Mahdawi visited Alexandria and met with its farmers.
