INT: BRIDGE OF UNNAMED COAST GUARD CUTTER SOUNDS: Nighttime, sea ambiance, slight rumble of engines in the background.
UNRELIABLE NARRATOR I stand my watch every night, midnight until zero-four. Last night was different. Out of a nowhere, a massive vessel bore down on us from the port side. Came out of nowhere. I yelled to the helmsman, "Hard to starboard! Port ahead full!" We were too late. I reached for the collision alarm right before the moment of impact, but felt nothing. I looked over my shoulder to see the skeletal bridge crew of the ship passing right through us.
