Dr. Kate Mansfield is a Davis-Shine Endowed Professor in Conservation Biology and graduate program coordinator of the UCF Turtle Lab in the College of Sciences. As a marine scientist and sea turtle biologist she studies the movements and behavior of sea turtles using satellite telemetry and monitors long-term nesting beaches and coastal juvenile research programs.
