SeaLights, an Arlington, Virginia-based provider of a quality intelligence platform, raised $8.6m in funding.

The round was led by Cisco with participation from Wipro Ventures, the strategic investment arm of Wipro Limited.

The company will use the funding to expand its sales and engineering initiatives, as well as to enrich the platform with new features.

Led by CEO and Co-Founder Eran Sher, SeaLights provides an AI-driven platform for software engineering teams to increase their release quality and velocity through the application of advanced analytics across the entire software development and testing life cycle, identifying quality risks and release with confidence.
