Sean Lee is the founder of the Purist Group. The Purist Group is a collection of automotive enthusiasts brought together by a shared interest in driving. However along the way things changed and the Purist Group has been organizing events to unite the car community towards a common mission, to help those less fortunate.

The Purist Group focuses on helping one another through charity events and volunteer-based service. In addition to frequent charitable community events, the annual events include the back-to-school drive, Los Angeles blanket drive, and the year-end toy drive.
