Welcome to season 2 episode 4 of Matter of Fat: a body positive podcast with Midwest sensibilities! Co-hosts Cat Polivoda and Saraya Boghani highlight community voices with a focus on body size, body positivity, & fat liberation.

The Fat Dish is really dishy this week! There weren’t any new updates on places and things but, hoooo boi, have Cat and Saraya shared what’s going on in their lives. Highlight reel: Cat was featured for Pollen with a beautiful write up by Andrea Sanow and is going on an overdue vacation and Saraya enjoyed a week in Atlanta and fell into the weird world of BRAVO television. Also, Saraya challenges all those who haven’t got selfie game (i.e. Saraya) to post to the Friends and Fans page for practice.

C+S were so excited to interview Sean McPherson whose dulcet tones you may have heard over the radio waves, at a Trivia Mafia night, or through Heiruspecs and other musical groups. Sean brought so much thought and vulnerability to the interview by talking about parenting, confronting internalized fatphobia, and letting us in on the origin story of Twinkie Jiggles. And, honestly, so much more!
