Leaving the old version of you behind, is searching for anything but me. So unrecognizable, all of it had to burn to the ground, to become who are. The embers, the flames was the only thing left of your past. Nothing could replace the past, it could never be revisited or restored. It was gone forever. The ones who you used to know, the ones you used to speak to, are forever strangers to you. A stranger you can’t recognize or reconcile, is a stranger that won’t remember what they did. For the ending to happen this way.
