Steven Fuller is a Communication professor at the University of Cincinnati. He hosts the Communication Junkie podcast, wrote The Church Experiment, and co-created Good vs Gooder. But, most importantly, he's spent the past three years assembling over 100,000 pieces of LEGO. Listen to Part One of this conversation with Steven here.
Today, Steven shares his curiosity about and experience with religion and how it led him to write The Church Experiment. Abbie talks about the value of hearing more stories about uncertainity, mystery, and messiness. Abbie and Steven discuss what can happen when we really try to get to know people, how we continue to find community in new ways, and why we “double down” because of our physchology. Finally, Steven and Abbie talk about Steven’s idea of a better social world from the perspective of a realist.
