Defining Hope

Hope is a confident expectation in the future that Jesus will bring.

What hope does for us?

Hope gives us strength when we are weak

Hope grants us support when we stumble

Hope gives us stability when we crumble

Hope offers us security when we are uncertain

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade–kept in heaven for you,

How do we increase our hope?

Seek God for it

Surround yourself with hopeful people

Search the Scriptures
