When you hear the words “snap, crackle, pop”, what does that make you think of? For many people it conjures up childhood memories of eating a popular breakfast cereal.  In today’s Feast, we are going to take a deep dive into the mysteries of popped rice and rice crackers!

Today's Menu: In our first course, we’re going to dive head-first into the topic of puffed rice, which is often made on the road-side in Taiwan and has been known to scare a lot of passers-by! In our second course we’re going to introduce Japanese rice crackers! And in our third and final course, we’ll tell you about the Taiwanese version, and how it’s often used as an offering to the gods!
